Kensie was trying to pull Nathan by the head to put him in this blanket so that he could have his picture taken.
Nathan's first haircut. Since this picture we have cut it again. I couldn't handle the comb over from the back look he was trying to pull off. Where all his soft baby hair went I don't know, I sure do miss how soft and thick it was!

Nathan is growing up so fast. He is a super smiley baby and loves to have someone's attention any chance he can get. I love it when he starts talking his baby talk. He has a lot to say!

So this is Sam's newborn photo. Nathan and him look quite a bit alike!
Kensie had a wonderful time at the trunk or treat. She did not like it so much when she had to hand me her bag so that I could pick her up. What a cute little kitty cat we have!

Sam and I decided it was time to see if Kensie fit on one of the bikes we bought at a garage sale. She loves it!!! She is able to put her feet on the peddles but is not able to peddle it herself. My sweet husband pushes her on her bike to the mailbox every night.

Nathan is growing up way to fast for us these days! He is now 6 weeks old, where did the time go?

So our little one is here and I am loving all the baby kisses I am receiving. I know he is not giving me kisses but I will take what I can get. Nathan is a great baby and his sister has taken to him. When we go get her in the morning she asks for baby and does not like it when she thinks I am leaving the house with him. She still needs to learn not to try and sit on him or throw her stuffed animal at him. We are all adjusting to our new addition and loving him more and more each day.

Pinky

Pinky is Mckensie's favorite stuffed animal. She doesn't have to have it at all times but gets so excited when she see's it. I like to make Pinky play peek a boo with Mckensie, which brings laughs and laughs. I am guessing it is suppose to be a pig, but I am not sure what it really is suppose to be. The name was given to it by none other than my husband. He has had a great time coming up with names for most of her stuffed animals.

Saturday was in the 90's here so we decided to take our first visit to our community pool. Sam and Mckensie took a swim while I took photos. We are looking forward to her splashing in the kiddy pool this summer.

Mckensie is learning each day and bringing joy to our lives. She is a happy baby or should I say toddler. We love her and are excited that she is going to have a little brother to take care of. We had our official ultrasound today to confirm our little one is due to arrive in the middle of August.

So we made it through the crazy three weeks of birthday's. Mckenise was the first to start us off. 1 year old, crazy! There was defiantly some crying that took place. She was not wanting to eat her cake so I finally opened her mouth to put ice cream in and then she was willing to eat a few bites. Getting her molars has been a little crazy around here. Unwrapping presents was dramatic also, but we made it through and she enjoyed her gifts. It was the tearing of the paper that caused the tears to fall. We love this little girl and are looking forward to many more good years!

Sam took the stage less then 2 weeks after and we took it slow and went to our niece and nephews soccer game then off to the Salt Lick. Good old BBQ was the request this year for Sambo. The next day we made a German Chocolate cake.

Next was my birthday and I chose to eat at Chuy's and enjoyed it twice. Lunch with my sister in law and many friends on the day before my b-day. Then Sam and Mckensie took me out for lunch and we took some Tres Leches home for dessert. Crazy to think that we are all done with birthays in our house but nice to know that I will not have brownies and other sweets around the house for me to eat for 3 weeks straight.

Man oh man I am so behind. November and December are just a blur for me. The end of November was packing time for us.
On December the 1st we signed the papers for our home and moved in on the 3rd of January. On the 10th we headed off to Oregon to spend time with Sam's parents and his brother Adam, Audrey and Anna. We had a wonderful visit with them.
We then took off for Idaho to see my family and had a great time sledding and hanging out with the family.
We left for California afterwards to spend some time with Sam's sister Megan, her husband Quinn and their two girls Sienna and Olivia. Sam went surfing and we visited the sites of where Sam's parents grew up. We took a walk on Rodeo Drive just to say we've been there.
Then finally back home. It took a couple of days before Mckensie realized she was finally home, poor little girl. We are currently painting her room and have transferred her to the guest room, which she is not fond of. We are looking forward to finishing her room so we can put her back in it.

One tired baby!
